Ba Bor Sor (white rice porridge)

Sunday, 22nd May 2011 Since winter is coming upon us fast, I have decided to learn how to make Ba Bor Sor (white rice porridge). This meal is great for winter and for when you are sick as it warms you up and is easily digested. Ingredients : Rice : 1 cup Water : 6 - 7 cups Salt :   1 teaspoon Extras:  coriander, spring onion, soy sauce Instructions : Put 1 cup of rice into a pot and rinse 2 - 3 times Add 6 - 7 cups of water into the pot Add 1 teaspoon of salt into the pot Place pot on the element and bring to a boil Turn down the element and let it boil softly while having the pot lid half off  Let it boil softly until rice becomes fluffy Remove top layer of starch regularly through out the boil notes: for a more or less watery meal just simply put in more or less water accordingly. Also fried fish is great with this meal. Lid Half off ;) More Watery Less Watery with spring onion and soy sauce
