Sup people, today I learnt about Ba Bor Mouan. I actually didn't make it because I was kinda too tired from last night -_- but any how, this meal is good as. Just takes longer then the normal Ba Bor.

Ingredients :

Rice : 1 cup
Water : 12 cups
Chicken : half of one
Salt : 3 teaspoons
Garlic : 2 cloves
Carrot : 1
Spring onion : 2 stems
Coriander : 1 stem
Bean sprout : however much you like
Cooking oil : approx. 1 teaspoon

Instructions :

  • Cut the carrot into small slices
  • Dice the the garlic into tiny tiny pieces
  • Dice the spring onion and coriander into the size you like best
  • Get a pretty big pot, put the water in and bring to a medium boil
  • Once boiled add the carrot and chicken
  • Boil until the chicken is cooked
  • While the chicken and carrots are cooking get a frying pan and heat the oil to a medium temperature
  • Add the garlic into the frying pan and fry until golden
  • When the garlic is done wash the rice and then place into the frying pan (at this stage the rice is still raw)
  • When the chicken is done remove and place the fried garlic and rice into the boiling pot and add the salt
  • With the chicken, rip the meat into small piece
  • Once the rice becomes fluffy add the chicken pieces into the pot and simmer for 5mins
  • Wash the bean sprouts and you are ready to serve

Note : i prefer the bean sprouts at the bottom of the bowl when serving, but its really up to you. Also you can add chili sauce or pepper when serving. If the meal is too bland you can add soya sauce to add in extra flavour.

Sweet, heres a photo, didn't take many my bad! was kinda not feeling 100%

So yeah hope you make this meal this winter you will not regret it ;) and also feel free to make any suggestion or feed back =D
